My name is Erin Rock. I was born in south Florida. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I moved to Virginia with my partner in 2012. I love that the seasons change in Virginia! Florida was just hot or hotter.

I was a historian at a historic house museum, Sully Historic Site, until 2018 when I left to have my first child. I now have two energetic children who I care for full time.

I am studying to become a teacher so I can share my love of learning and social studies with middle schoolers, and because my friends and family are getting tired of me trying to constantly teach them civics and history.
